Why Making Female Friends As An Adult Is The Worst: Straight Shootin' Podcast
Adulting is hard. All aspects of it. You have to go to work every day. You have to put on pants to go out in public. People expect you not to throw tantrums when you’re told you can’t drink wine at 10am on a workday. You’re supposed to make friends on your own. We feel your pain, people. Which is why we decided to discuss in this week’s podcast: Why Making Female Friends As An Adult Is The ABSOLUTE Worst.
While we consider ourselves lucky to have found one another as “adults”, we still struggle to expand this tiny pack and meet other females. We often say really weird shit when meeting new people. While Jesse throws in random tid-bits of information that may not be relevant to the conversation, Ashley mostly makes stuff up (also known as lying). The struggle is REAL and we are right there with you. Just because we appear to have it together (HAHA), it doesn’t mean we haven’t asked grown ass women we’ve met for the first time what their favorite dinosaur is. We share some terrible advice we’ve received, some awkward moments we’ve had, as well as some nuggets of knowledge. Why wouldn’t you trust two girls that only hang out with each other and a cat?! CHECK IT OUUUUT and then share something awkward you’ve done when meeting new friends. Misery loves company!
