Dear Diary: To Our Younger Selves
Do you ever wish you could turn back the hands of time and tell your younger awkward self some bits of wisdom to get through those rough childhood/middle school/high school years? If we only knew then what we know now- maybe our eyebrows would be thicker and our confidence would be higher. Then again, maybe we needed to go through those painfully cringe-y stages to become the bad-ass chicks we are now.
But really, we would love to give the younger ginger and blonde a squeeze and say “you’re going to be okay”. You’ve made it to your thirties. Sure you won’t be making millions of dollars, you’ll still have weird self-confidence issues, but DAMNIT kid, you’re doing pretty well for yourself now (most days). You both have a great group of friends, amazing husbands, secure jobs, and a way better sense of fashion.
